Job Summary/Basic Function

Maryville University, a NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference is searching for qualified applicants for a full-time assistant women’s lacrosse coach position. Full-time position with benefits.

The successful candidate will maintain compliance with all NCAA, Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), and institutional rules and regulations; provides instruction of skill and team strategy; encourages academic achievement of student-athletes; creates an environment that promotes compliance, sportsmanship and civility and assists the head coach with administrative functions of the program.

Main responsibilities include instructing and teaching the skills and strategy of the sport. Assist in recruiting of new prospective student-athletes. Assist in monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes. Assist in team travel arrangements. Compliance with all NCAA, GLVC and Maryville rules and policies. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor degree

Preferred Qualifications

1 year of relevant experience
