The Manager of Operations and Compliance is a key administrative and
operational leader within Maryville University’s Student Health and
Counseling Services (SHCS), a fully integrated department that supports
the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the campus community.
Reporting to the Dean of Student Wellness, this position ensures the
effective coordination of daily clinical and counseling operations, maintains
compliance with institutional and regulatory standards, and supports the
infrastructure necessary to deliver high-quality, student-centered care.
This role requires a unique blend of clinical knowledge, administrative
expertise, and systems-level thinking to manage the operational and
compliance functions across both health and mental health services. The
Manager of Operations and Compliance acts as a connector across multiple
units, ensuring alignment between SHCS operations, university policies, and
external regulations. The position plays a vital role in managing vendor
relationships, supervising front-line administrative personnel, overseeing
medical documentation protocols, and supporting interdepartmental
collaborations.
As a visible leader in the Student Wellness division, this position also
contributes to the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives that
advance Maryville’s commitment to holistic well-being through the
MaryWELL brand and 8 Dimensions of Wellness framework. The
manager is expected to support innovation, streamline internal systems, and
cultivate a collaborative, efficient, and student-focused service environment. |
Assistant Coach - Volleyball

The Assistant Coach for the volleyball program plays a vital role in supporting the head coach in the development and success of the team. Assist in planning and conducting practice sessions, focusing on skill development and tactical understanding for players of varying skill levels. Collaborate with the head coach to analyze opponent strategies, develop game plans, and prepare the team for competition.
Provide guidance and mentorship to players, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging personal and athletic growth. Help with scheduling practices and games, managing equipment, and maintaining team records.
Serve as a liaison between players, parents, and the coaching staff, ensuring clear communication regarding expectations, performance, and development.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong knowledge of volleyball, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes. Prior coaching experience or playing experience at a competitive level is preferred. |
