We are seeking a dynamic leader with a passion for softball and a commitment to fostering the holistic development of student-athletes. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of talented student-athletes and build upon a rich tradition of athletic excellence. As the Head Coach, you will not only guide our team to success on the field but also serve as a mentor and role model, helping our student-athletes develop the skills, discipline, and character necessary for success in all aspects of their lives.
Essential Responsibilities: • Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes to compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), and be among the top programs within the conference. • Oversee scheduling, practice planning, game day operations, and travel • Oversee the administration of the softball program, including making recommendations for hiring and supervising coaching staff. • Oversee the program’s operational and recruitment budget. • Connect with the alumni of the program, including but not limited to opportunities to meet, invitations to appropriate team activity, and other stewardship activity • Understand and follow the rules, regulations, and protocol of the University, GLVC, and the NCAA.
