The Director of Field Education is a full-time, eleven-month, non-tenure track renewable faculty position at Maryville University. The Director of Field Education is responsible for managing both the administrative and teaching components of the field education component within Maryville University's fully online Social Work Program. The position is split equally between teaching and administrative duties, encompassing 12 credits annually (typically 6 credits in Fall and 6 credits in Spring). As a key member of the program, the Director ensures field education courses meet accreditation standards, supports students and adjunct faculty, and facilitates student placements with appropriate field supervisors.
