Job Summary/Basic Function
In keeping with our mission and vision statement, Maryville actively seeks adjunct faculty members who are experts in their fields and have a passion for teaching. Adjunct faculty are an integral part of the University’s learning community and teach courses on-campus.
The College of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications for an academically/professionally qualified adjunct faculty member to teach undergraduate Psychology courses in the Spring 2023 semester.
All courses are taught face to face on Maryville’s campus in St. Louis, MO. Courses and times are listed below:
Social Psychology: Mon and Wed; 5:00-6:15 PM
Organizational Psychology: Mon and Wed; 5:00-6:15 PM
Multicultural Psychology: Tues and Thurs; 3:30-4:45 PM
Human Cognition: Tues and Thurs; 5:00-6:15 PM
Statistics: Tues and Thurs 5:00-6:15
Human Development; Tues and Thursday 2:00-3:15
Critical Thinking in the Social Sciences: Wed and Fri 8:00-9:15 AM
Biological Psychology; Wed and Fri; 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
• Master’s degree in Psychology or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Doctorate with at least 15 graduate hours in Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.• College-level teaching experience.
