Job Summary/Basic Function
In keeping with our mission and vision statement, Maryville actively seeks adjunct faculty members who are experts in their fields and have a passion for teaching. Adjunct faculty are an integral part of the University’s learning community and teach courses on-campus.
The College of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications for an academically/professionally qualified adjunct faculty member to teach undergraduate Psychology courses in the Spring 2024 semester.
We are specifically looking to staff the following courses:
General Psychology: 11:00-12:15 Wed, Friday
Social Psychology: 8:00-9:15 Tues, Thursday
Social Psychology: 12:30-1:45 Tues, Thursday
Organizational Psych. 9:30-10:45 Wed, Friday
Cognitive Development 8:00-9:15 Tues, Thursday
Critical Thinking in the Social Sciences;
2:00-3:15 Monday, Wed
5:00-6:15; Monday, Wed
8:00-9:15 Wed, Friday
Psychological Statistics: 2:00-3:15 Tuesday, Thurs
All courses are taught face to face on Maryville’s campus in St. Louis, MO.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
• Master’s degree in Psychology or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Doctorate with at least 15 graduate hours in Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.• College-level teaching experience.
