Job Summary/Basic Function

The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic at Maryville University is currently seeking a 40-hour per week itinerant speech-language pathologist with experience serving preschool-age children. The successful candidate will provide speech-language therapy to clients of the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic satellite locations in North County and the City of St. Louis. Qualified candidates will also supervise graduate students during therapy. The Clinic at Maryville offers competitive pay, a manageable caseload, and an experienced staff in a team-oriented environment.
The Clinic at Maryville’s mission is to teach two through six year-old children with speech and language disorders the communication skills necessary to succeed in school and throughout their lives. This goal is achieved through early identification and long-term therapy (both individual and group) and by training parents in techniques to use with their children at home.

Minimum Qualifications
|
• Master’s degree from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology • CFY or current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association • Provisional or valid current MO state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist • Current driver’s license and reliable transportation; regional travel anticipated • Experience with diagnosis and treatment of language delays, phonological rule disorders, developmental apraxia of speech for children (early childhood)
