Maryville University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of International Enrollment to lead our efforts in recruiting and enrolling international students. As the Director of International Enrollment, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our global reach, fostering diversity, and enhancing our international student experience.
Essential Responsibilities: • In coordination with the Vice President for Enrollment, develop and implement international student recruitment plans that include the creation of physical, digital & and virtual marketing materials, events, and communication plans. • Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with international agency partners. Facilitate agency agreements and train agency partners in order to coordinate recruitment efforts with external partners effectively. • Act as Designated School Official (DSO). Create initial I-20 Forms and advise incoming students on the visa application, transfer, or change of status process. • Review and evaluate all files submitted by international students for admission into all undergraduate programs. • Achieve and compile reports on recruitment goals as stated on the Statement of Annual Goals set in consultation with the Vice President for Enrollment. • Coordinate Fall/Spring travel for international recruitment and strategically plan and implement international recruitment events (in-person and virtual). • Assist in training new enrollment personnel as well as the campus community regarding international recruitment and other international topics.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum four years of International Admissions/Enrollment Management • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, have the ability to travel internationally, and hold a valid passport • Experience as a P/DSO • Experience evaluating international transcripts • Excellent planning and organizational skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience in developing and implementing effective communications plans • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed • Ability to partake in extended international travel as needed
