Job Summary/Basic Function
The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic at Maryville University is currently seeking a temporary, itinerant speech-language pathologist with experience serving preschool age children through a hybrid of telepractice and in-person therapy. The Clinic at Maryville offers competitive pay, a manageable caseload, and experienced staff in a team-oriented environment. The flexible schedule is based on childrens' schedules and varies from 16-30 hours per week. The Clinic at Maryville’s mission is to teach two through six year old children with speech and language disorders the communication skills necessary to succeed in school and throughout their lives. This goal is achieved through early identification and long-term therapy (both individual and group) and by training parents in techniques to use with their children at home.

NOTE: This is a temporary, non-benefits eligible position. Expected duration approximately 12 weeks.
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association • Current and valid MO state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist • Current Driver’s License and reliable transportation; regional travel anticipated • Experience with language delays, phonological rule disorders, developmental apraxia of speech for children (early childhood)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with telepractice • Experience with parent training • Hanen Technique Certified • Experience in supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Students • 2-4 years experience with early childhood population • Experience with Electronic Health Records system
